A substance has a mass of 60gm and a volume of 30cm3.the density of water is 1g/cm3. Can this substance float on water?

Given, mass = 60gm

Volume = 32cm3

Therefore, Density = 60/30 = 2g/cm3

Since density of this substance is more than the density of water(1 gm/cm3), it will not be able to float.
